The Compact Office hopes everyone had a great holiday season. We are looking forward to working with you in 2025. A few housekeeping items to mark a smooth transition into 2025.

Please remember to note “ICC25” as the prefix to any form first filed this year. If you have forms in draft format, add to your submission checklist a quick review of the form numbers to make sure they are updated.

The Compact has an Additional Filing Fee framework in effect as of January 1st. The Compact Office published explanatory information on the Additional Filing Fee, found at the first link on the Filing Fees page of the website under Industry Resources. Please review how the Additional Filing Fee applies to avoid objections that delay assignment of your filing. If you would like assistance in calculating the fees, the Advance Filing Calculation process is an efficient way to learn the fees. Stay tuned for information on webinars to provide more education on the Additional Filing Fee framework.

Also, as a reminder, the Compact adopted amendments to the Group Term and Group Whole Life Uniform Standards to enable them for use with groups other than employer groups. The amendments become effective for filing use on February 10^th.
