Please note that effective Wednesday, August 16th, North Dakota is accepting Compact-approved products under all individual and group life insurance and annuity Uniform Standards. Companies can include North Dakota on new filings or add North Dakota to pending and previously approved product filings in these product lines.

North Dakota is not enabled in SERFF to be added to any long-term care or disability income insurance filing. On August 15th, the Commission approved North Dakota's request for a six-month stay of effectiveness for all individual and group disability income insurance Uniform Standards. Filing companies will be notified when and if North Dakota will participate in the disability income insurance Uniform Standards. The request for stay is posted on the August 15th Event page. In addition, North Dakota legislatively opted out of all long-term care insurance Uniform Standards when joining the Compact.
