In this week?s tip, the Insurance Compact Office is excited to report that the Expedited Review Process Pilot has been extended from June 30 to December 31, 2019.

During a joint meeting of the Insurance Compact Management Committee and Commission on June 17th, the Management Committee voted to extend the pilot program through the end of the year. For the next six months, the Compact will continue to accept requests for Expedited Review of eligible filings. As a reminder, the Insurance Compact Office is interested to receive any and all filer feedback regarding this pilot program. Upon approval of each filing in the expedited queue, we issue a filer feedback survey to the filing?s primary contact. Responses to this survey are extremely helpful as we work to make this process a permanent and accessible option for Compact filers.

Unsure whether your company is eligible in light of the pilot eligibility criteria? Contact the Insurance Compact Office at Expedited@insurancecompact.org, and we will help determine whether your filing submission could be accepted for Expedited Review in either the Life or Annuity product lines.
