The Insurance Compact Committees have been actively planning for 2025 in the last few weeks. There are three upcoming public calls in the next three weeks and all are posted to the Events page of the Compact website. 
 
The first call is the Product Standards Committee scheduled for Tuesday, October 8th. During this call, the Committee is going to present its recommendations for the 2025 Annual Uniform Standards Development Prioritization List. The purpose of this list is to set the Committee’s work plan for 2025. The 2025 Annual Uniform Standards Development Prioritization List will be considered for adoption by the Commission during the Compact’s Annual Meeting scheduled for November 16th during the NAIC’s Fall National Meeting. 
 
The second call is the Adjunct Services Committee scheduled for Tuesday, October 15th. The purpose of this call is to present the framework for the Compact’s “Innovation Office” and Pre-Filing Questionnaire. These are items which have come out of the Roundtable conversations. 
 
The third call is the Finance Committee scheduled for Wednesday, October 16th. This call is to present the draft 2025 Budget as well as the proposed 2025 Schedule of Fees. The Finance Committee is proposing a realignment of the filing fees. The realignment is detailed in the 2025 Budget Memo. The 2025 Budget and Schedule of Fees will be considered for adoption by the Commission during the Compact’s Annual Meeting scheduled for November 16th during the NAIC’s Fall National Meeting.
