The Insurance Compact has six Types of Insurance (TOI) enabled for annuities. A10 ? Annuities Other is often overlooked. This tip will help you understand when A10-Annuities Other can be used.

This TOI is perfect for Applications and Riders and Endorsements filing types, particularly when a form can be used with multiple annuity products that may involve multiple TOIs. Filers can even submit Supporting Documentation Updates (SDU) under this TOI when the update affects more than one type of product. If you use this TOI for annuity applications, do not forget to state how the application will be used.

Please note this TOI should not be used with a LTC or DI product. If an application will be used with a LTC or DI product, please remember to use the applicable LTC or DI TOI. This is a requirement under the Filing Information Notices applicable to LTC and DI product filing submissions.
