How do I add a state?

There are detailed directions provided under Industry Resources, specifically under the Creating a Compact Filing information. Please reference the How to Add a State document. 

How do I update the Statement of Intent (SOI)?

You will find a Weekly Tip in the News and Events section titled “Validating or Checking the SOI Schedule.” The tip will walk you through how to update the Statement of Intent (SOI) Schedule

How do I add a fee?

To add a fee, you will need the SERFF Industry Manual. The manual may be found under Help while logged into the SERFF system. Click on the person icon and select "help". A separate pop-up will appear with all sorts of information to assist SERFF users. Filing fees starts on page 121. 

How do I associate filings?

Information about Associated Filings can be found under the Industry Resources tab. It is located at the top of the page, click the tab and select ‘Create a Compact Filing’ subpage. 

How do I know which states have enacted the Compact legislation and eligible for inclusion on product filing submissions?

The Compact has published a list of the states who have enacted the Compact legislation, and it can be found under the Regulator Resources page on the Membership subpage. There is a document called Implementation Dates located under the map, which provides all of the dates each state became effective. 

Where do I find the Uniform Standards?

There is a tab at the top of the home page titled Standards, click to view menu, and select ‘Record Adopted Standards’ to search all items that have been published for posterity. For items that are currently going through the rulemaking process, you will need to click the ‘Docket Developing Standards’ under the Standards tab on the home page.

What does this error code mean?
